  • A quality product should only be built using real wood. Try to stay
    away from fake paper coated particle board, raw particle board or
    melamine. These materials will not last and are considered
    substandard.
  • Your project should be built off site and fit perfectly when it arrives
    with little or no modification.
  • Install should only take from a few hours to two days depending
    on the size of the project.
  • Today's finishes and stains are harmful for you to breath and the
    odors last a long time. Your project should be finished in a
    controlled environment not unlike painting an automobile.
  • Paint grade cabinets can be painted on site. We have a better
    solution. Ask our cabinet designer for details.
  • There are a number of problems that can arise during installation.
    Make sure that the company is properly insured.
  • If at all possible go to the shop or show room. Look at jobs that
    are about to go out and make sure it is the quality that was
    promised to you.
  • GET REFERENCES and call every one of them. A quality cabinet
    company should have at least 20 minimum.
  • Try to use a company that specializes in what you want to have
    done.
  • You should only order cabinets from a company that can give you
    computer generated drawings. Jobs drawn by hand leave too
    much to question and you can only assume that they know what
    you want. The right design software will leave nothing to question.
  • Pick a cabinet designer that listens to what you want but will also
    help steer you in the right direction.
  • STAY AWAY FROM FINISHES LIKE POLYURETHANE. Poly is not
    meant for high end cabinetry. It will not hold up to all the
    different chemicals that you find in a everyday kitchen.
